area. Our church is situated on 20 acres of wooded hillside and grassy fields, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and valley.
Administration: We are a part of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. We commemorate Patriarch Kirill of Russia and Archbishop Bishop Peter.
History: A parish was established in 1983 by Fr. Constantine Pazalos (later tonsured as Hieromonk Kallistos) and a small group of Americans. They moved to our present location in 1985. The parish was the beginings of a small group of monastics that are now located and thriving in Wayne, WV (Holy Cross Hermitage).
Bells: In 2007 we, the former Parish, purchased a set of 7 traditional church bells from Russia, dedicated to the 1600th Anniversary of the repose of St. John Chrysostom. The bells are rung at every service to call the faithful to worship and to proclaim God's glory. Please visit the Church Bells page for more information and to watch videos of them being rung.
We invite you to visit us, and look forward to meeting you!
